Jesse L. Johnson
CEO and President

Cochise MTS, Inc. (Cochise) was established in 2008 by founder, CEO and President Colonel Jesse L. Johnson, (Ret.).  Jesse L. Johnson served a distinguished military career spanning 34 years on active duty in the U.S. Army.  He spent the majority of this service in Airborne and Special Operations units.  Colonel Johnson served as the Deputy Commander in the Army's elite DELTA Force at JFK Special Warfare Center, Ft. Bragg, N.C., during which time he participated in Operation Eagle Claw, 1980, Iran Hostage Crisis, the search for Brigadier General James Dozier, 1981, held captive by the Italian Red Brigade Terrorist Organization and Operation Urgent Fury, 1983, Grenada prisoner rescue from the Richmond Hill prison.

Colonel Johnson has commanded and served in other elite forces to include commanding the 10th Special Forces Group, Ft Devens, MA and Bad Tolz, Germany and command of SOCCENT (Special Operations Command of Central Command) MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida.  While SOCCENT commander he deployed to Saudi Arabia for Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as the Commander of all Special Operations Forces.


Robert C. Brooks
Director of Operations

MSG Robert Brooks, (Ret.), has been with Cochise since 2004 as the Country Operations Officer in Iraq for the USACE Captured Munitions Program.  Robert has just recently returned from over two and a half years in Afghanistan as Program Manager of both DoS and DoD projects.  Robert is now operating from Cochise MTS HQ in Valrico, Florida.

Robert is retired from the United States Army after twenty years with positions as an infantryman and operator with 1st Special Forces Operations Detachment (DELTA).
